An all-round American producer/composer Michael Zager has been produced numerous Grammy Award artists. In 1975, he entered the disco scene with his own recording but received no attention. However, his second attempt 'Let's All Chant' became the top disco song as well as Top40 pop hit in 1978. He followed this success with 2 more albums, but this 1978 hit proved to be his only solo success so far.

The New York dance band Odyssey was formed by two sisters, Lillian and Louise Lopez, and a Filipino singer Tony Reynolds in the mid 70s. In 1977, they made their debut with the slow disco tune "Native New Yorker". The song became a big hit on both side of the Atlantic.
