rolling stones london o2 show sold out in minutes

Who Cares About Ticket Prices! Rolling Stones Sell Out London O2 Shows in Seven Minutes

When the ticket prices were first announced for the Rolling Stones shows at the O2 Arena in London, people were grumbling up a storm. Once they went on sale, though, all the bad publicity went away as the group sold out two shows at London's O2 Arena in just seven minutes.

The cheapest tickets were $170 (£106), including fees, and ran all the way up to $650 (£406). Special VIP Platinum Experience tickets were setting people back $1,500 (£950).

Not only did they all go in seven minutes, but that also included a temporary crash of the Ticketmaster site which couldn't handle the demand.

Now, it's time to see how much scalpers will ask for the tickets. One source reports a $20,500 price already on-line.

Tickets for the New York (Newark) Rolling Stones dates go on sale tomorrow (Saturday) at 9 AM EDT. Prices run from $95 ($114.80 after Ticketmaster fees) to $750.00 ($813).

smash mouth postpone aussie tour
Smash Mouth postpones 2012 Australia/NZ tour
 by SALLY BAILEY

Smash Mouth are cancelling their Australia and New Zealand 2012 Tour but will reschedule and come back in 2013.

Thats pretty much all she wrote....no reason has been given by promoter Big Apachee as to why the tour has been postponed.

They do tell us that they are busy rescheduling for a March 2013 tour, so thats not too long for fans to wait and also a refreshingly clear indication that the bad are likely to come to Australia at some stage.

Smash Mouth wish to apologise to all their fans for the disappointment but are glad to be able to return in 2013. Tickets purchased for shows will remain valid for the rescheduled 2013 dates or refunds are available from the point of purchase

fleetwood mac confirm 2013 tour with new material

Fleetwood Mac confirm details of reunion tour, hint at new material in 2013

Stevie Nicks has confirmed that Fleetwood Mac will embark on a reunion tour from April next year.

The band behind iconic 1977 album Rumours put an end to months of speculation by confirming their reunion, with Nicks also revealing the band are in talks about recording new music to coincide with the live dates.

Speaking to ABC News Radio, Nicks said: "We go into rehearsals somewhere around the end of February. So... if everything goes to plan, we should probably be out [on the road] by end of April [or] May, I would think."

Nicks added that the reunited group are working on new music, though nothing is official yet.Well, actually, maybe like two songs, maybe four, who knows? We don't really know yet 'cos we're not in the world of Fleetwood Mac yet. We're just still in talks about that.

Fleetwood Mac are one of a number of names rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury when the festival returns. Speaking to NME about the rumours, festival organiser Emily Eavis said: "I think Fleetwood Mac would be amazing to get, I’ll be totally honest we haven’t had any conversations with them yet but, you know, it is still early days. We’re just talking to some headliners now. For us it’s about getting the balance of heritage bands, legends and new bands – just keeping that balance."
