Bill Cosby jams with Joe Satriani on The Tonight Show
by JOE BOSSO
Comedy legend Bill Cosby was so taken by Joe Satriani's playing on November 29th's The Tonight Show that he decided to hit the keyboards and do a little jamming with the guitar master.
Satriani was sitting in with Rickey Minor and the Tonight Show Band throughout the program, and during a commercial break, Cosby, waiting to be introduced, was overwhelmed by their rendition of Satch's God Is Crying (from his new album Black Swans And Wormhole Wizards). Upon his entrance, Cosby took it upon himself to join the group for a most unique musical interlude.
Quite honestly, this is one of those situations where a picture (or in this case a video) is worth a thousand words, so check it out and enjoy!
Chicago are back together with producer Phil Ramone for their next album planned for sometime in 2011.
“Phil is an old friend and we have a long history,” Chicago founder Robert Lamm tells undercover.fm.
Ramone produced the 12th Chicago album ‘Hot Streets’ and the hit ‘Alive Again’. “We were talking last night at dinner about exactly when he first became involved in Chicago,” Robert said. “It was the mid 70s. We were recording at Caribou Ranch and doing a lot of television and Phil would be the guy who mixed”.
The first stage of the album has been done. Chicago will regroup in early 2011 to complete the project. “We just spent three weeks in Nashville recording some new music,” he says. “The experience was so good, so organic and so musical that I think everybody was encouraged to try and do it again in the next few months, an album top to bottom”.
So how many albums have they made? I have no idea’” Robert says. “We are in the 30s I think”.

Black Eyed Peas Accused Of Stealing KC and the Sunshine Band Hit
by PAUL CASHMERE
Harry Wayne Casey of K.C. and the Sunshine Band has accused Black Eyed Peas of ripping off one of his songs for their new album.
"I have recently learned that the Black Eyed Peas have utilized my song 'Give It Up' in their new composition 'Love You Long Time' which appears on their new album," remarks Harry Wayne "KC" Casey. "I LOVE the Black Eyed Peas and am truly honored that my music has crossed over decades and many types of music genres. Will.i.am is a great producer and I am thrilled that he is a fan of KC and the Sunshine Band, too."
A media release from Casey says that there is no doubt that ‘Give It Up’ is featured in ‘Love You Long Time’ without authorization or credit.
Casey’s attorney David Bercuson says he is “working on an amicable solution to the legal issues resulting from this situation”.
‘Love You Long Time’ features on the just released Black Eyed Peas album ‘The Beginning’.

Currently supporting Madness on their extensive UK tour, Paul Heaton has just announced two headline shows for April 2011.
These dates follow the recent release of Paul's acclaimed solo album 'Acid Country', a sold out September tour of UK and Ireland, a headline appearance on Glastonbury's Leftfield stage and storming sets at Latitude and V Festival.
Currently celebrating 25 years since the release of his first ever single (The Housemartin's debut 'Flag Day' was released in October 1985), 2010 also saw Paul embark upon his much heralded 'Pedals and Beer Pumps' tour. These dates saw Paul travel to 16 pubs by bicycle, cycling over 1000 miles in the process and playing some of the best shows of this career. Starting off at the Rovers Return on Coronation Street and fitting in a quick date at the Woolpack in Emmerdale, the dates saw him highlighting the plight of local boozers and celebrating cycling as an environmentally friendly (and very healthy!) method of touring.
'Acid Country' is Paul's 15th studio album and sees the former Beautiful South and Housemartin's frontman continue to write classic melodies with a country edge, whilst also maintaining his sparkling pop sensibilities. As ever, his intricate and sometimes acerbic lyrics stand out with songs about old and new experiences, stories of travel and home, optimism and pessimism.
Paul's live shows in 2010 have seen Paul and his brilliant band ' Jonny Lexus (guitars), Jonny Wright (bass) and Pete Marshall (drums) - mix tunes from his solo catalogue with a few classic offerings from his Housemartin days.
