Hall & Oates: Christmas Album

Icebergradio issued the following report:

Hall & Oates recently came out with their first-ever Christmas album, featuring such traditional tunes as "The First Noel" and "Oh Holy Night." The duo also wrote two of their own seasonal tracks, called "Home For Christmas" and "No Child Should Ever Cry On Christmas." John Oates told us that he and Daryl Hall wanted to combine both old and new holiday songs: "There's certain Christmas classics that just seem to represent the spirit of Christmas and what people kind of expect on a Christmas album. And at the same time we want to do something that's a little different."

A portion of the proceeds from sales of Home For Christmas will go to Toys For Tots.

Hall & Oates recorded the material over several months this year in the Bahamas, upstate New York, London and Colorado. They also recorded a new version of "Jingle Bell Rock" for a promotional-only single.

Hall & Oates have a few concerts lined up in March.

The Zombies: Live CD & DVD Out in Feb

IceBergRadio issued the following message:

It's taken a few years, but some live recordings of the reunited Zombies will finally be released in the U.S. in February. A two-disc CD and a DVD, both of which are titled Live At The Bloomsbury Theatre, London, have been out in the U.K. since 2005. The DVD and CD document the last show of what was a six-week U.K. tour, and it took place on the same day in 2004 that they released the album As Far As I Can See. The CD, which has their entire 25-song performance, and the DVD, with 16 songs, will be available separately beginning February 27th.

The tracklisting for the Live At The Bloomsbury Theatre, London CD includes:
DISC ONE -- "Andorra," "This Will Be Our Year," "I Love You," "What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted," "Mystified," "A Rose For Emily," "Beechwood Park," "Time Of The Season," "I Want To Fly," "In My Mind A Miracle," "Keep On Rolling," and "Hold Your Head Up."
DISC TWO -- "Sanctuary," "Pleasure," "Say You Don't Mind," "Misty Roses," "I Don't Believe In Miracles," "Old & Wise," "Care Of Cell 44," "Indication," "Tell Her No," "She's Not There," "Just Out Of Reach," "God Gave Rock 'N Roll To You," and "Summertime."
