U2: Groundbreaking 3-D Concert Film

U2 have announced they are releasing a ground-breaking 3-D concert film next summer.

The band were filmed playing in South America earlier this year in “the first-ever 3-D multi-camera shoot” during their Vertigo tour.

The results are currently being edited together, with talks with several major distributors currently ongoing for a planned cinematic release next summer .

Prince: Going Vegas

Pop pixie Prince is entering his Vegas years – he's to play a permanent weekend residency at the resort's Rio hotel.

The star has agreed a deal to headline Club Rio every Friday and Saturday night, with the venue renamed 3121 - the title of his last album – in his honour.

Not only that, but Prince – who will move into the hotel – will also “showcase new talent” on Wednesday nights, with a Latin night on Thursdays.

The run will begin later this month.
