Volume nine of the hard-to-find series, consisted of 23 tracks from the late fifties. Aside from "Endless Sleep" and "Chanson d'Amour", if you are not the old music fans, you might not even heard these songs before - although some of them even hit the high chart. There were one-hit wonders such as the national version of Tommy Facenda's "Hight School U.S.A.", Dave "Baby" Cortez's "The Happy Organ", the Shepherd Sisters' "Alone (Why Must I Be Alone)", and the Aquatones' "You". There were some songs that finally saw that light of day for the first time, such as the song that Bill Haley's released as the Lifeguards' "Everybody Out'ta the Pool", Jivin' Gene & the Jokers' never-heard-of version of "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do", Nu Tornados' city boy story "Philadelphia U.S.A.", and the Trumpeteers' all trumpet "A String of Trumpets".
