The eighth volume in the hard-to-find series focus on hit singles from the seventies period. Truth to be told, there are abundant of seventies collections out there (especially the enormous "have a nice decade" series), make it easy to find any hit singles from this period. So instead of a rare collection, you should look at it as a 70s album. And it is a very nice album indeed. It has many big one-hit such as Exile's "Kiss You All Over", Suzi Quatro's "Stumblin' In", Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr.'s "You Don't Have To Be A Star (To Be In My Show)", and Samantha Sang's "Emotion". It also contains many small gems; including Poppy Family's "Which Way You Goin' Billy?", Hurricane Smith's "Oh, Babe What Would You Say?", and Prelude's "After The Goldrush". |
