REKUIEM NEW ALBUM PRE-PRODUCTION IN PROGRESS |
|
Classic British Rock, Rekuiem has issued the following message:
"Pre-production work has started on a brand new Rekuiem album provisionally titled Raise The Dead. The record is planned for release in mid-2007 and will feature around twelve brand new compositions of the heaviest variety, that is assured! The band would like to leave their mark as one of the more classic British metal bands and this record will strive to do just that; we won't be following the latest 'trends' as so many try to do. Quite the opposite, we will be trying to create our own new trend in classic British metal for others to follow in the years to come. Watch this space! The band also plan to play live shows from mid 2007 onwards which will hopefully include a few high profile festival appearances in the summer/autumn of 2007. Sometime during this period rekuiem also hope to shoot a live DVD for fans who are not able to catch the band live. The DVD will hopefully feature most of the classic tracks from Time Will Tell along with some of the new songs from the planned new studio album. Also keep your eyes peeled for the limited edition release of Time Will Tell on vinyl and Rekuiem digital downloads! Also a new Rekuiem MySpace site and new forum/discussion site to be set up by our friends in italy. Watch this space for more details as they come in!"
The band also posted the following message on their official website "
FIRST OF ALL WE'D LIKE TO WISH YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR, DON'T GET TOO DRUNK! LATEST NEWS: EARLY WORK ON NEW IDEAS FOR THE NEXT ALBUM IS GOING WELL - THE EARLY WORKING TITLE FOR THE RECORD IS 'RAISE THE DEAD' ALTHOUGH THIS COULD CHANGE AT A LATER DATE - STILL IT'S NICE TO HAVE A NAME TO CALL IT AT THIS EARLY STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT. BELIEVE US, THIS NEW ALBUM WILL DEFINATELY BE VERY VERY HEAVY, IN FACT SO HEAVY THAT IF IT WERE TO COME OUT ON VINYL YOU'D STRUGGLE TO LIFT IT!!! PROGRESS IS ALSO BEING MADE ON ENTERING THE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD MARKET PLACE AND ON THE LIMITED EDITION VINYL RELEASE OF 'TIME WILL TELL', WATCH THIS SPACE! WE'RE ALSO DEVELOPING A 'MY SPACE SITE' AND A BAND FORUM - GOTTA KEEP UP WITH THE YOUNGER GENERATION 'EN IT'! 'WICKED'! 'LATER DOODS'! HIT THE NEWS PAGE FOR MORE GEEZERS!!! "
REKUIEM are:
Steve Slater - Guitars
Karl Wilcox - Drums
Gordon Denny - Bass
Paul Parry - Vocals
