The Chicago producer William LaTour only released two albums of his own during the 1990s - with only one success. The novelty, eletronic dance record "People Are Still Having Sex" was able to crack into Top40 territory on Billboard Hot 100 in 1991. However, he quickly called it a quit after the follow-up singles failed to capture any attention.

3rd Bass was a hip-hop group from Queens, New York, who actived for a short time during the end of 1980s and early 1990s. Their big break came in 1991 when their novelty rap song "Pop Goes the Weasel" became a hit and subsequently put their name on the map. However, they disbanded just a year after as their members went separate ways.

Gareth Hale and Norman Pace was a British comedian duo from the late 1980s and 1990s. In 1991, they recorded a charity singles for an operating British charity called Comic Relief. The song about the fiction dance craze "The Stonk" really did became a craze and topped the UK chart that year. It was the only success in the music world for the duo.

This British dance pop trio shaked the US chart with their monster hit in 1992. The self-delusion novelty song "I'm Too Sexy" took the top spot on Billboard chart but barely missed it in their homeland. Green Jelly was the New York rock band who usually appeared in their cartoonish costumes. They released their debut video album, Cereal Killer, in 1993. The metal upgrade of the classic children tales "Three Little Pigs" became an MTV favourite and hit no.17 on the chart. They never had anything else on the chart since then.

Doop was a short-lived Dutch music act who suddenly became a celebrity in the mid 1990s. Their adaptation of 1920's Charleston dance titled "Doop" became a surprise no.1 hit in UK in 1994. Unfortunately, all their follow-up works were flops and they vanished from the music world as quickly as they came.

This Canadian alternative rock band became a brief (but huge) talk in the US with their debut singles "MMM, MMM, MMM, MMM". This sequence of three short (but rather weird) stories became a worldwide Top10 hit (and no.4 hit in US) and brought the band an instant fame. Sadly, it was the only time their works ever appeared on the US chart.

Rednex was the Swedish techno-country group found in mid 1990s. They had a big hit in 1994 when their dance version of the traditional folk song "Cotton-Eye Joe" became an international hit and climbed to no.25 in US. Although they still an active group and made more hits in Europe, none of them ever hit Billboard Hot 100 chart again.
